# Manufacturer logo provenance

Downloaded and source notices audited on 2026-10-08 for manufacturer identification in AUTEX’s catalog. These are existing manufacturer marks, not AUTEX artwork or generated approximations. SVGs are served locally, with their original colors and proportions.

Toyota, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Nissan, BYD, and Tesla names and marks belong to their respective owners. Their appearance identifies vehicle manufacturers and does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation with AUTEX. A Commons public-domain copyright tag does not waive trademark rights or establish permission for every use. Follow the linked source notices when reusing these files.

## Validation

All seven downloaded originals were parsed as XML and checked for scripts, event-handler attributes, foreign objects, embedded images, external `href`/`src` references, remote CSS `url()` references, imports, document types, and entity declarations. None were found. The source files are unmodified; no SVG markup is injected into the DOM. `BrandLogo` uses a contained image with local URLs and fixed layout dimensions.

The catalog continues to display the manufacturer name as visible text; adjacent logos use empty alternative text to avoid announcing the same name twice. Unmapped manufacturers keep their existing text link without a fabricated logo.
